So a little about me? I really don’t even know where to start. Well, my name is Sahil Kapadia, born and raised in the great city of Chicago.

I made The City Mix because I love creating websites, art, love the web and the inherit beauty of life. Once in a while I think I have an occasional burst of mediocre creativity, and I have this restless urge to share it on my limited web space of the world. My life starts and ends with my daughter and wife. They rock! My daughter has taught me how to be a kid again, while my wife has supported me and my crazy philosophy on life and creative outlets. Basically, she humors me!

The rest of it really stems from life; I live with no regrets because at the end of the day I am happy where I am and who I am. I have so many passions and sources of creative inspiration… music, my family, the nightlife, my infantile approach to graphics design, travel, architecture and my city of Chicago. Wow, my city… There aren’t many places that offer the wide spectrum of culture, style, vibe and energy that Chicago does. There is so much life at every corner!

Outside of school, my full time job, my family, the house chores, I go out with my cheap little cyber-shot and take pictures. When I am home and have nothing to do, I start playing around with Photoshop, when I am bored with that, I play my synth. So if enough people buy my stuff, I can upgrade to a real camera! Don’t worry, my family won’t go hungry if people don’t.
